As you enter custom Screener criteria, the Waterfall Summary updates immediately and dynamically.
To update the data for your screen results without changing any screen criteria, you can click the refresh icon.
To view the full name of any truncated content, use your mouse to hover over the truncated text: the full text will be revealed in a hover bubble.
Once you’ve completed a screen and found possible stock or fund investments that match your specific needs, you can access that list of investments from the List Panel, sort them to study their characteristics, and view their charts.
You can use MarketSmith pre-set screens to review stocks according to notable investment strategies (William O'Neil, Buffett, Lynch…).

When viewing the Calendar within MarketSmith, roll over the icons in the Calendar to see the Earnings Release Date, Dividend, Stock Splits, New CEO, and IPO Date.
Relevant information such as industry strength, fund sponsorship, options and news is accessible through the Related Information Panel to the right of your chart.

When you want to know which investments have the highest RS Rating in addition to the highest Volume within that set, you can sort by RS Rating, lock that column, and then sort by Volume and so on. In this way, you are able to bring winning investments to the surface.
Moving list items is as simple as dragging and dropping the items from one list to another.
Columns can be reorganized on the fly by using drag and drop. Click and hold on a column header, move it to the desired location, then release.
System-generated Markets lists found in the List Manager offer updated market indicators, component reports, access to market index charts, a summary of resources, etc.
You can copy items in a list by selecting them and then pressing CTRL+C. This places the items on the clipboard. To paste copied items to a new location, select the placement with your mouse and press CTRL+V on your keyboard. You can paste the items into a different list in the List Manager, or into an external document outside of Marketsmith.
Directly below the List Manager, you will see a handle labeled List Properties. When clicked, List Properties will expand and display more information about the current list you’re viewing. From here you can track, comment, rate, and share the list.
You can either view contents of your list like a slide show by using the “Play” feature or one at a time by hitting the spacebar on your keyboard.
