How do I log on to MarketSmith?
- Go to the MarketSmith homepage.
- Select the orange Sign In button on the top left of the page to expose the Sign In field.
- Type in your email address and password and hit GO.
- Once you are properly signed in, you will notice a grey Sign Out button in the place where the orange Sign In button previously appeared.

How do I launch the Tool?
- Log on to MarketSmith.
- Install the Microsoft Silverlight application if you do not have it already on your computer.
- Once the Microsoft Silverlight installation is complete, you will see a large orange Launch Tool button shaped like an arrow on the upper right side of the page. (If you do not see the orange Launch Tool button, you will receive a message that reads “Your computer must be configured to run MarketSmith.” Please reinstall Microsoft Silverlight.)
- Enable pop-ups for our site from your toolbar or disable your pop-up blocker completely.
- Click the orange Launch Tool button to launch the MarketSmith equity research tool. Please note that the tool will open in a separate window.

How do I use MarketSmith?

- Read the Learn Pages on the MarketSmith website.
- Watch Instructional Videos.
- Use hands on Hover Help in the Tool by selecting Yes next to Show Hover Help in the Tool Options menu.
- Participate in one of our Educational Webinars.
- If you’re a Daily Graphs Online user, you can interact with our Image Guide to help you locate features in MarketSmith that you’re familiar with in Daily Graphs Online.
- Schedule a call with a Product Coach to develop a research routine.

How often is MarketSmith updated with new versions or releases?
